Refuah 14 is an appointment-only practice. Walk-ins are not accepted. Each appointment is reserved specifically for you, and your session is prepared in advance based on your intake information and service selection.

Everything you need to know before your appointment at Refuah 14 or RBF Aesthetics. Reading these policies helps us provide the best possible experience for every client.
Refuah 14 — Massage & Bodywork

Intake & Consent Forms
Required forms are sent directly through Vagaro based on the client and service booked. Please complete all required forms before your appointment — forms do not need to be downloaded from the Refuah 14 website. Forms may include: General Health Intake, Liability Waiver, Pregnancy Consent (for Blessed Beginnings), and Minor Consent (for clients under 18).
Prenatal Massage
Blessed Beginnings prenatal massage is available during the second and third trimesters only. First-trimester massage is not offered at this time. A required pregnancy consent form will be sent through Vagaro upon booking. Please disclose your trimester when booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee. This policy exists to protect appointment time that has been reserved specifically for each client and cannot easily be filled on short notice.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid delaying the next scheduled client. The full service fee applies regardless of session length when a late arrival reduces available time. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.
Minor Clients
Clients under the age of 18 require a parent or legal guardian to be present for the duration of the session and must complete a Minor Consent form prior to the appointment. Please contact us before booking for a minor client.
Health Conditions & Contraindications
Please disclose any health conditions, injuries, surgeries, medications, or areas of concern on your intake form. Certain conditions may require a physician's clearance before receiving massage. Your therapist reserves the right to modify or decline a service if it is not safe or appropriate based on disclosed health information.
Draping & Comfort
Professional draping is maintained throughout every session. Only the area being worked on is undraped at any time. You are always in control of your comfort — please communicate any concerns about pressure, temperature, or positioning at any time during your session.
Faith & Welcome
Refuah 14 is proudly Christian-based, with Scripture intentionally woven throughout the practice — from service names to the space itself. Clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life are warmly welcomed and treated with equal care and respect. The faith-centered nature of the practice is an expression of the therapist's heart, not a requirement for clients.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted methods include major credit and debit cards, cash, and R&R Wellness gift cards. Gratuity is appreciated but never required.

Appointment-Only Practice
RBF Aesthetics is an appointment-only practice. Each appointment is reserved specifically for you. Please book in advance through the RBF booking system.
Skin Consultation & Intake
A brief skin consultation is conducted at the start of each new client appointment. Please arrive with a clean face when possible, or arrive a few minutes early to allow time for cleansing. Disclosing current skincare products, active ingredients (such as retinoids or acids), and any known sensitivities helps Maya customize your treatment safely.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit to book future appointments.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment to avoid impacting the next scheduled client. The full service fee applies regardless of the adjusted session length.
Contraindications & Active Ingredients
Certain skincare treatments — including chemical peels, microneedling, and waxing — have specific contraindications. Please disclose any use of prescription retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin), Accutane (isotretinoin), active skin conditions, recent procedures, or known allergies when booking and on your intake form. Some services may need to be modified or rescheduled based on this information.
Waxing Services
Hair must be at least ¼ inch (approximately 2 weeks of growth) for waxing services. Please discontinue use of retinoids, exfoliating acids, and similar active ingredients for at least 5–7 days before a waxing appointment. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 24–48 hours before and after waxing.
Post-Treatment Care
Post-treatment care instructions will be provided after your service. Following these instructions — including sun protection, avoiding active ingredients for the recommended period, and keeping skin hydrated — is essential for best results and to minimize the risk of irritation or adverse reactions.

Respectful Environment
R&R Wellness is a professional wellness environment. All clients and practitioners are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and the client will be responsible for the full service fee.
Privacy & Confidentiality
All client health information and personal details are kept strictly confidential and are used solely to provide safe, personalized care. Information is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Photography & Social Media
Photography within the treatment rooms is not permitted without prior consent. R&R Wellness may occasionally share photos of the space or products on social media — clients and practitioners are never photographed without explicit permission.
